Hi! I’m Natasha!
I’m a maker of all things crafty, and collecting craft supplies and fabric are two of my biggest hobbies! As the daughter of engineers, I was encouraged to create my own fun… by any means necessary. My parents were also incredibly creative people, who loved to build, sew, paint, repair, and just create! That meant that I had access to tools and supplies of all kinds. Family motto: Only boring people get bored.
If you can dream it, you can create it! I think that is true for every aspect of life, whether you want to craft a song, a treehouse, the perfect sourdough, or a bag to hold your tools. Every problem is an opportunity to craft a solution. As I dream up new creations, I often share them with others on my YouTube channel (@alwaysbecrafting), on instagram (@always.be.crafting) and right here, on this website.
So why am I holding a ukulele in my photo? After graduating from music school, I spent my 20’s figuring out how to craft a life that I could both enjoy, and find meaningful. I was surprised, after the birth of my first son, to find that I enjoyed teaching music to children. Now I spend a few hours in the morning, six days a week, making music around the preschools and family centers in my area! I consider myself very lucky.
