Always Be Crafty

https://tashgetscrafty.wordpress.com/

TashGetsCrafty was my very first blog! I started this one years ago, as a way to document all of the beautiful puzzles I was learning to solve. I haven’t updated it in over a year, so maybe I’ll start a photo dump here instead!?!

god I love this bag! The bag pattern is ByAnnie: Ultimate Travel Bag 2.0, the fabric is from Kaffe Fassett for Free Spirits… the bottom is car headliner vinyl, and the straps are iridescent vinyl… it was a beast to make, but I love it! I definitely need to travel more!
I mean, come on! Look at this cuteness! Easy Does It (free) bag pattern ByAnnie… fabric is Kaufman Animal Club Cats.
quilt I made for my son … all fabrics are Grunge… appropriate for a kid that wants to go to college in Seattle! (yes, his walls are GreenScreen green)
Dogs. In. Hats. Easy Does It (EDI) again… I purchased these fabrics from CaliQuiltCo! Love them!!!
Ummmm, those are some serious handles! Don’t worry, I opened up the seams and shortened the handles before this adorable “neon dark side“ bag got snatched up by a great friend. No bag pattern… just me following the my instincts.
I don’t only make bags and quilts… sometimes I make four legged pants for tap dancing squids, and fluffy tulle dresses (and headbands, and hand puppets) for his sea anemone chorus! I costumed The SpongeBob Musical this past Spring (2022) and had an absolute blast!
A dear friend LOVES Schitt’s Creek, so obviously when I saw this fabric, I had to make her an awesome pouch! Patterns ByAnnie strikes again! This one is called the Clam Up.
Two more examples of me just going with the flow! This was going to be one big pouch, with the flowers on the inside, but I felt like I should just mix things up. I’m so glad I did!
